LNG运输船/ LNG燃料动力船应急切断(ESD)阀的应用

Abstract: Emergency shut down (ESD) valves are important equipment on Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) carriers and LNG-powered ships. Both the IGC code and IGF code have a series of requirements for ESD valves. This paper studies the closing time, realization type and application scope of the ESD valve on a LNG carrier and a large LNG-powered container ship, and also describes the special design of the ESD valve by comparison with the conventional remote control valve, and compares the differences in the requirements of the IGC code and IGF code for the ESD valve.

摘要: 应急切断(ESD)阀是LNG运输船及LNG燃料动力船上重要的设备。对于ESD阀,国际散装运输液化气体船舶构造和设备规则(IGC Code)和国际气体及低闪点燃料动力船舶安全规则(IGF Code)上都有一系列要求。文章通过某LNG运输船及某大型LNG燃料动力集装箱船上ESD阀的应用为例,对于ESD阀的关闭时间、实现型式和适用范围等进行了研究;阐述了ESD阀相较于常规遥控阀的特殊设计,比较了IGC和IGF对ESD阀要求的差异性。
