As an important auxiliary equipment for the offshore engineering, the jack-up platform has the characteristics of the conventional ships in appearance. The hull can be lifted off the water surface by lifting devices and pile legs. The operation of the jack-up platform is therefore not affected by the seawater movement, ensuring the stability and safety of the offshore operations. It can operate continuously under the relatively rough seas, and expand the operation window phase. The design of the machinery system of the jack-up gravel pile construction platform is analyzed and discussed to provide suggestion and references for the design of this kind of construction platform.
