Considering the complexity of engine room block in Ro-Ro passenger ships, the finite element modeling of the block is established by using the TSV-BLS to calculate the stress and deformation of the block and the tension of the wire rope during the integral lifting process for the safety of lifting. The feasibility of the lifting scheme is also evaluated. The successful lifting of the full-scale ship proves the reasonability of the lifting scheme, which can provide guidance and reference for the lifting of the engine room block of other ships.
