Abstract230)            Save
In the whole cycle of ship production, the shipowner often put forward suggestions on the modification of ship compartments in the middle and late stage of the construction due to the lack of the low-cost compartment experience environment in the early stage, which causes a lot of out-of-date situations with the increased ship construction cost. According to the above problems, the virtual reality (VR) technology is used to develop and construct the ship compartment VR environment to implement the ship compartment wander, the switch of the built-in color scheme and the other interactive contents. Finally, it is applied to the shipowner review of the interior decoration scheme for the full-scale ship compartment, enable the shipowner to participate in the design at the early stage and put forward the modification suggestions on the compartment design scheme based on the real experience. Thereby it can improve the design quality and efficiency with the short construction period.
