The stability of the two-dimensional air-filled cavity is discussed in the current study. The experimental results of two types of air lubrication hull bottom are provided to discuss the factors that affect the resistance performance of the air lubrication ships. The optimal air chamber height and the best speed range are recommended for the inland air lubrication barge based on the analysis of the experimental data. Some new suggestions are also proposed to provide reference for the development of the new inland air lubrication ship.
