Ship appearance aesthetics has become increasingly important in the modern ship design. The appearance of an integrated support ship in Miyun reservoir is designed by adopting the current methods for architecture design, industrial design and art design. Some fundamental methods for the ship appearance design are summarized to provide reference for the appearance design of the similar ships.

Electric ships, as new energy ships that are driven by electric energy, have received increasing concern. This paper discusses the general design of a hybrid electric ship served in the reservoir area, including its main dimension, general arrangement, overall performance and environmental protection design. It also discusses the selection of the marine batteries and their safety and management protection.
