The Interactive Electronic Technical Manual (IETM) is one of the key application technologies for lifetime security. It has the obvious advantages in improving work efficiency and enhancing the maintainability and supportability of warships. Staring from the preparation of the IETM, the technical information is standardized by combining with the characteristics of the ship development and design, the product structure SNS is also confirmed according to the relevant standards, and then the reasonable information code is selected to finally determine the DMRL list of the model. The integrity of the contents of the IETM and the training system is discussed with the consideration of the high turnover of the crew and insufficient self-learning ability, in order to enhance the practicability of the IETM.
