Ship & Boat    2021, 32 (05): 71-76.   DOI: 10.19423/j.cnki.31-1561/u.2021.05.071

In the design of mast and signal equipment, the design of mast such as radar mast and foremast is very complex, with more sections, frequent design changes and heavy workload. A three-dimensional (3D) design method for the mast and signal equipment is presented aiming at the design of the radar mast and foremast in the mast and signal equipment based on the CATIA knowledge engineering. A parts library of mast and signal equipment products has been established through knowledge engineering by utilizing the ability of the CATIA knowledge engineering to reuse models. By directly calling the existing parts library in the design, the product parts are organized in the hierarchical framework to complete the 3D design of the mast and signal equipment with the design knowledge as the core. The design procedure and method of the radar mast on a ship are also introduced. This design method can effectively shorten the design cycle, improve the utilization of the design knowledge and reduce the modification workload and error rate.

3D Design of Container Guide Rail Based on CATIA Platform
WU Xu-dong, TONG Yin
Ship & Boat    2021, 32 (01): 96-100.   DOI: 10.19423/j.cnki.31-1561/u.2021.01.096
Abstract187)            Save
There are many problems in the design of container guide rail, such as many structural sections that need to be installed on the rails, complicated layout of the connecting elbow plate in the different sections, the various types of connecting elbow plates and the complex weight statistics. A 3D design method is proposed for the container guide rail based on the Computer Aided Three-dimensional Lnteractive Application (CATIA) platform. The design efficiency is effectively improved by using the functions of CATIA such as the knowledge engineering, parametric design and unified assembly, enabling the more intelligent design and reducing the workload of the later modification.

SANG Wei, TONG Yin
Ship & Boat    2020, 31 (06): 1-8.   DOI: 10.19423/j.cnki.31-1561/u.2020.06.001
Abstract197)            Save
The types and properties of the high-modulus synthetic fiber (HMSF) cable are described in detail from the necessity of the application of the HMSF cable for the better application of the new HSMF cable to the oceanographic research winches and the deep-sea survey operations. The main indexes to evaluate the performance of the HMSF cable are then analyzed and discussed. The key points are proposed for the design of the oceanographic research winch and the deep-sea survey operation that use HMSF cables. Finally, the relevant suggestions are provided for the industry of the oceanographic research winch.

Design of Connection Node for Removable Bollard
TONG Yin, LIU Peng
Ship & Boat    2019, 30 (05): 67-71.   DOI: 10.19423/j.cnki.31-1561/u.2019.05.067
Abstract142)            Save
In the design of the ocean survey ships and working ships, the improvement of the deck utilization and the optimization of the arrangement of the working deck are the development trends of the design of such ships. The removable bollard has increased flexibility of the deck utilization by comparison with the welded fixed bollard. It is easy for the users to make full and reasonable use of the stern deck according to the task requirements. The bolted connection node of the removable bollard for full-scale ships are designed and analyzed by comparison with the finite element simulation results. It can provide reference for the application of the removable bollards.
