This paper studies and summarizes many renewable energy generation systems, such as wind energy and solar energy, and storage systems such as power batteries and super capacitor, which can be efficiently and safely accepted through the direct current (DC) microgrid. The hybrid energy power generation system can be established by combing the renewable energy generation systems and storage systems with the traditional basic energy generation systems. The application of the hybrid energy power generation system in the field of the ship power distribution technology is significant for promoting energy saving and emission reduction of ships and achieving sustainable energy development.
