Research vessels are important carriers of the strategy of building a strong maritime power, and the underwater radiated noise is an important factor affecting the accuracy of research operation and marine ecological environment, so higher requirements are put forward for the control level of underwater radiated noise. The development of the underwater radiated noise control technology for research vessel presented the trend of full-cycle control and intelligence. The method of the full life cycle control of research vessel underwater radiated noise is summarized. Acoustic control technology for the design, construction, mooring commissioning and operation phases are introduced in sequence, with a focus on acoustic intelligent control for the operation phase. Combined with the digital twin technology, the future research direction is envisioned, aiming to provide a reference for relevant researchers to ensure the low-noise performance of the research vessel in the whole life cycle, to improve the efficiency of the research operation and the operation precision, supporting the development of the low noise technology for high-tech ships.
