Abstract: The Voith-Schneider Propeller (VSP) is suitable for ships with high requirement of dynamic positioning (DP) control because of its great maneuverability. The working principle of the VSP has been analyzed, and the hydrodynamic characteristics of the VSP are preliminarily analyzed according to the selection of the ship type and the installation of the VSP. The results can provide reference for the further research of the DP control strategy and algorithm, aiming at the maximum thrust and efficiency.

摘要: 直翼推进器具备良好的操纵性及机动性,适用于有较高动力定位控制要求的船舶。文章分析了直翼推进器的工作原理,并结合实船选型及安装情况进行了水动力特性初步分析,该结果可为后续动力定位控制策略和算法研究以实现推力最大化或效率最大化提供参考。
