Abstract: The simulation of the tip clearance vortex cavitation is a challenging project due to the difficulty of defining the mass source item. The numerical simulation is conducted by using the Reynolds-averaged Navier-stokes (RANS) method with the Schnerr and Sauer cavitation model, in order to accurately predict the tip clearance vortex between the hydrofoil and the wall. For no cavitating flows, the results with the different turbulence models show the high accuracy of the SST k-ω model. For cavitating flows, the results show that the cavitation will change the trajectory of the vortex core, making it closer to the wall and the suction side. The current study shows that the tip clearance vortex can be predicted by the observation of the tip clearance vortex cavitation which may be one of the important factors inducing cavitation erosion.

摘要： 梢隙涡空泡计算是一项具有挑战的课题。文章以准确预报水翼和壁面之间的梢隙涡为目的,采用雷诺平均应力（RANS）结合Schnerr和Sauer模型方法进行数值研究。对于无空泡状态,不同湍流模式的适用性研究结果表明SST 模型具备较高精度;对于有空泡状态,研究结果发现空泡的存在使涡心轨迹发生一定改变,使其更加贴近壁面和吸力面。通过研究分析得到诱导空蚀发生的一个重要因素,且表明梢隙涡空泡观测预报梢隙涡具有一定应用价值。
