Abstract: The transverse web frame in cargo hold area for a very large crude carrier (VLCC) is optimized to propose a topology optimization design procedure for the transverse web frame under complex operation conditions, including the design domain range of the transverse web frame, the screening criteria of the operation condition, the weight coefficient and the constraint condition. On this basis, the topology optimization calculation is then carried out for the transverse web frame in the cargo hold of a VLCC under the multiple operation conditions by using HyperWorks/OptiStruct, finally resulting in the reasonable topology configuration. The results show that this optimization method is effective and feasible to provide a technical mean for the optimization design of the transverse web frame in large oil tankers. It can also provide reference for the topology optimization of other hull structures.

摘要: 以VLCC货舱区域内横向强框架作为优化对象,提出了一套适用于复杂工况下横向强框结构的拓扑优化设计流程,包括横向强框架设计域范围、工况筛选准则及权重系数、约束条件等。基于该优化思路,在HyperWorks/OptiStruct软件中针对某型VLCC货舱内横向强框架开展多工况拓扑优化计算,最终得到了合理的拓扑构型。研究表明,该优化方法具有有效性与可行性,可为大型油船横向强框架的优化设计提供一种技术手段,同时还可为其他船体结构的拓扑优化提供参考。
