Abstract: The fatigue strength of the hatch corners of bulk carriers has always been a concern. In this paper, a finite element model of a 174 000 dwt bulk carrier is established in Patran. The fatigue strength of the hatch corner of the No. 6 cabin at midship is evaluated according to the CCS Guidelines for Fatigue Strength of Hull Structures (2018). Two methods for optimizing the round hatch corners, i.e., the sub-model method and the global-model method, are designed based on the BP neural network and the MOPSO algorithm. Finally, the concept of life-to-weight ratio is proposed to evaluate various corners by comparing and analyzing the results of the two methods. A set of better corner structural forms are then obtained by analyzing the influence of the weight of the round corner on the fatigue life. It can provide references for other designers.

摘要: 散货船舱口角隅的疲劳强度问题历来为人们所关注。文章以1艘174 000载重吨散货船作为实船算例,在Patran中建立有限元模型,依据CCS《船体结构疲劳强度指南》(2018)对船舯6号舱室舱口角隅的疲劳强度进行评估。基于BP神经网络和MOPSO算法设计了2种优化圆形舱口角隅的方法,子模型法和全局模型法。最后,对比分析2种方法的结果数据,提出了寿命重量比概念来评估各种角隅,分析了圆形角隅的重量对疲劳寿命的影响趋势,得到1组较优的角隅结构形式,供其他设计者参考。
