Abstract: Submerged water-jet propulsion is a new development of traditional water-jet propulsion technology. The current study systematically analyzes the propulsion efficiency, the interaction between the hull and the water-jet and the specific speed of the propulsion pump based on the concept of this type of water-jet propulsion. It firstly establishes the mathematical modelling of the specific speed and the advance coefficient of the waterjet-propelled ship that are described by principal parameters of the hull and the propulsion system. The range of the speed and the specific speed of the propulsion pump for the submerged propulsion system has been demonstrated to reveal the mechanism of high efficiency. The variation of the main parameters of the propulsion system with the speed ratio and speed of revolution has been validated through case studies. It can provide a theoretical basis for the development and application of the submerged water-jet propulsion system.

摘要: 浸没式喷水推进方式是传统船舶喷水推进技术的新发展。文中针对该类喷水推进型式,从概念出发,系统分析了推进效率、装置与船体的相互影响、推进泵的比转速,首次建立了以船体与推进装置主要参数描述的比转速及喷水推进船进速系数的数学模型,论证其应用的航速与推进泵比转速范围,揭示其高效机理,并通过案例进行验证。该文掌握了装置主要参数随喷速比与转速的变化规律,为浸没式喷水推进装置的发展应用奠定了理论基础。
