LIU Yifeng, LI Xie, LU Yan, ZHANG Zhengyi, WU Junyun, LI Jiasheng
Ship & Boat    2024, 35 (04): 75-84.   DOI: 10.19423/j.cnki.31-1561/u.2024.04.009
Abstract26)      PDF (2059KB)(139)       Save
A software has been developed to predict the inherent longitudinal vibration characteristics of the ship shafting. The software is developed using the QT platform, with the core solver written in MATLAB and the solution algorithm using the Holtz method. The results are compared and verified with the simulation results of ANSYS and the longitudinal vibration calculation results of an actual shafting system. On this basis, the developed software is used to discuss the variation of the longitudinal vibration characteristics of the shafting under different shafting properties. The results show that the properties affecting the inherent longitudinal vibration characteristics of the shafting mainly include the crank radius, crank thickness, longitudinal stiffness of thrust bearings and material elastic modulus. The relevant research results can provide references for the vibration and noise reduction of the ship shafting.

The applicable rules of nuclear-powered icebreakers at home and abroad are introduced from the design requirements of icebreakers. And the key points of icebreaker design rules are analyzed from polar risks such as low temperature, excessive ice and remote geographical location. Firstly, the definitions of low-temperature environment in different classification society rules have been compared, and the design points of winterization rules are interpreted from the aspects of engine intake, cold protection for liquid tank and escape passage. Secondly, the relevant requirements of the general arrangement are sorted out from the requirements of fire safety, nuclear safety and winterization. The influence of icing on the requirements of intact stability, riding ice stability and damaged stability in rules are also summarized. Finally, the strength check rules of ice class rudder system and ice class propeller are analyzed. The above comparison and analysis of rules can provide references for future design of nuclear-powered icebreakers with practical significance.

Ship & Boat    2022, 33 (06): 63-72.   DOI: 10.19423/j.cnki.31-1561/u.2022.06.063
Abstract118)      PDF (1012KB)(206)       Save
A kind of catamaran crane with hoisting truss as connecting bridge structure has recently emerged on Qiantang River due to the prominent requirement of lifting and salvage in inland river and the difficulty of ship repair imposed by the situation of more ships than factories. The strength check of this new structure that is beyond the rules is a new problem in the ship inspection and certification. On the basis of relevant specifications, the analysis methods of the total longitudinal and local strength, total transverse and torsional strength, hoisting truss strength and supporting structure strength for this type of ship are presented and applied to the structural analysis of a 700 t crane ship. This method can be applied to the design and check of the same type of ship.

Development of VSP Simulator Based on Dynamic Positioning Application
GUO Yi-fen, WU Jun
Ship & Boat    2020, 31 (04): 57-64.   DOI: 10.19423/j.cnki.31-1561/u.2020.04.057
Abstract156)            Save
Voith-schneider Propeller (VSP) is widely used in the application for the high dynamic positioning (DP) control because it can implement the stepless adjustment of the magnitude and direction of the thrust without changing the revolution. However, it is impossible for the debug between the DP control system and the VSP in the design stage because the VSP is often imported with a long delivery period. The development of VSP simulator can fill this gap. The relationship between the thrust vector and the control point information can be calculated and solved by using the mapping method based on the research of the hydrodynamic performance of the VSP. The working performance of the VSP is simulated to provide the conditions for the interface test, the collaborative control algorithm verification and the optimization design.

WU Jun, LI Qin, LI Gang, LAN Jian
Ship & Boat    2020, 31 (01): 15-22.   DOI: 10.19423/j.cnki.31-1561/u.2020.01.015
Abstract141)            Save
The current study focuses on the project of a leveling dredger for gravel foundation laying of the submerged immersed tunnel. The real-time monitoring of the gravel foundation laying process for the submerged immersed tunnel has been performed by using technologies such as programmable logic controller (PLC), QT and database. The closed-loop control of the process of floating and sinking of the immersed tunnel is carried out by the PLC control using the proportion, integral and differential (PID) algorithm. The real-time monitor of the process of floating and sinking of the immersed tunnel is then implemented by the design of the computer interface of the real-time monitoring system, in order to achieve the technical requirements of the high precision and the high efficiency for the gravel foundation laying of the immersed tunnel. This mode of operation is original in China.

QIU Wei-qiang, WU Jun, LI Liu-yang, GAO Chu, WANG Lian-cheng
Ship & Boat    2019, 30 (06): 1-12.   DOI: 10.19423/j.cnki.31-1561/u.2019.06.001
Abstract271)            Save
The topology optimization and shape parameter optimization technology are applied to the transverse webs in cargo hold. It enables not only the design of vertical girder without cross brace for the longitudinal bulkhead, but also the reduction of the structural weight of the cargo hold and the simplification of the construction process. The number and the length of the swash bulkhead can be minimized with the significant reduction of the envelope value of the static bending moment under all the operation conditions by the reasonable arrangement of the transverse bulkhead and the longitudinal bulkhead, which can improve the ship safety. It’s expected that the construction cost of the cargo hold of a very large crude carrier (VLCC) will be reduced by more than 5%.

The development of shipbuilding industry has been driven by the development of modern information technologies, such as the big data and the internet of things. The ship intelligence will be promoted by the integration of the ship transportation and the cyber-physical system (CPS) represented by sensor, information and communication, which will become the development trend of the shipbuilding industry. It firstly studies the integrated platforms of smart ships in view of the function characteristics, technology foundation and system configuration, and elaborates the design idea, system configuration and implementation procedure of the general smart ship integrated platform. It also presents the design and construction method of the intelligent integrated platform based on the intelligent engine room installation scheme for a new polar scientific research ship. The intellectualization of engine room can then be achieved through the construction of integrated platform and data analysis. The condition of the engine room, health condition and assistant decision-making can be provided to the screw to reduce the labor intensity of the screw and to improve the ship operation efficiency.
