About the Journal

Ship & Boat (Chinese name:《船舶》) was established in 1990 and is published bimonthly, ISSN: 1001-9855, DOI: 10.19423/j.cnki.31-1561/u. The journal is sponsored by Marine Design & Research Institute of China (MARIC) and supervised by the China State Shipbuilding Corporation Limited (CSSC). The journal is approved by the National Press and Publication Administration and is among the first batch of publicly recognized academic journals. In 2024, the journal was selected as a core journal of Chinese science and technology and was recognized as a journal with significant progress in academic influence by the Chinese Science and Technology Journal Database.
