Calculation and Critical Region Avoidance of Fishing Boat Surf-Riding/Broaching Considering Wave Drift Force

摘要: 船舶在发生骑浪横甩时表现出很强的非线性特征,是二代完整稳性中机理最复杂的1种失效模式。船舶在低频运动时所产生的波浪漂移力也会对运动状态产生一定影响。因此,以四自由度操纵性方程MMG模型为基础,将经验公式计算的波浪漂移力加入到波浪力公式中,研究考虑波浪漂移力影响的船舶骑浪横甩数值计算方法,分析不同波长船长比,船舶运动状态的变化规律。此外,还对船舶航行的临界危险区域进行预测,判断船舶在航行时的安全速度和稳定航向角,将仿真出的图像和日本船舶互保协会的实验数据及规范公式所给的界限进行对比,提出规避危险区域的意见。

Abstract: The ship shows strong nonlinear characteristics when surf-riding/ broaching occurs, which is a failure mode with the most complex mechanism in the second generation intact stability. The wave drift force generated by the ship in low-frequency motion will affect the motion state of the ship. The wave drift force calculated by the empirical formula is therefore introduced into the wave force formula to study the numerical calculation method of the surf-riding/broaching with consideration of the influence of the wave drift force based on the MMG model of four degrees of freedom maneuvering motion equation. The variation law of the ship motion under different wavelength ratios and different rudder angles is then analyzed. In addition, the critical dangerous region of the ship is also predicted to judge the safe speed and stable heading angle during the sailing of the ship. The simulation results are illustrated and compared with the experimental data of Japan ship Mutual Insurance Association and the limits of the standard formula, thereby providing suggestions on avoiding dangerous regions.
