Abstract: In the tide of the digital transformation, the mode and process of modern ship design have undergone revolutionary transformation compared to the previous 2D design drawings due to the emergence of various digital design tools. With the continuous improvement of computer processing and the continuous deepening of the intelligent development of design software, 3D Digital Mock-Up(3D DMU)has gradually become the infrastructure of new industrial designs. Modern ship design is a customized and discrete large-scale engineering design. The introduction of 3D DMU and its extension to 3D digital ship mode will bring significant changes to the ship design process and its connotations, and the “Single Source of Truth(SSOT)” based on the 3D DMU will reshape the entire ship design process. This article focuses on the significant changes of 3D DMU and SSOT to the ship design through the analysis of the changing paradigm of modern ship design.

摘要: 在数字化转型的大潮中,各种数字化设计手段的出现,使现代船舶设计的模式和流程比以往的二维设计图纸模式有了革命性变革。随着计算机处理水平不断提升和设计软件智能化发展不断深入,三维数字样机(3D DMU)已逐渐成为新的工业设计的关键基石。现代船舶设计是一个定制化、离散型的大型工程设计,引入3D DMU的理念并拓展到三维数字样船,必将对船舶设计流程和内涵产生重大变革,基于3D DMU的“单一(可信赖的)数据源”也将重塑整个船舶设计流程。文中通过对现代船舶设计模式变革的分析,重点阐述了3D DMU和单一数据源对船舶设计的重大变革。
