Ship & Boat    2024, 35 (03): 90-95.   DOI: 10.19423/j.cnki.31-1561/u.2024.03.009
Abstract5)      PDF (1492KB)(6)       Save
A set of shipboard helicopter integrated logistic support helicopter integrated logistic support(ILS) methods adapting to extreme environmental conditions, such as polar low temperature and icing, is proposed in order to meet the increasing requirements of ILS for helicopters on polar ships in China. The current common polar rules, standards and ship configuration are studied to identify their incompatibility with extreme polar environments. Targeted improvement plans are then proposed based on relevant domestic and international systems. These improved helicopter ILS methods for polar ships can be selectively applied to the design and construction of new generation polar ships.

Discussion on Establishment of China Polar Rescue System
HUANG Wei, WU Bin, TANG Qingzhi, LI Yuan
Ship & Boat    2023, 34 (01): 40-50.   DOI: 10.19423/j.cnki.31-1561/u.2023.01.040
Abstract179)      PDF (1485KB)(379)       Save
The harsh natural environment and special geographical position of the polar regions make the polar activities more dangerous. Frequent sudden accidents also impose higher requirements for the emergency rescue in the polar regions. China has carried out a large number of scientific investigations and commercial shipping in the Antarctic and Arctic, but with weak foundation of polar rescue. By summarizing the current main rescue modes in the polar regions, a preliminary idea of the polar rescue system is proposed, and the organization structure, regulation study, platform construction, environmental survey, communication and navigation, rescue station distribution, equipment development, personnel training and procedure formulation are described. This study will fill the gap in the research of polar rescue system in China, in order to provide references for the establishment of the polar rescue system in the future.

HUANG Wei, CHEN Cheng, ZHOU Jiachen, ZHAO Zhijun
Ship & Boat    2022, 33 (05): 122-127.   DOI: 10.19423/j.cnki.31-1561/u.2022.05.122
Abstract95)      PDF (1036KB)(217)       Save
The ship integrated power system combines the conventional propulsion system and power system in the form of electrical energy, representing the development of the ship power system. However, the harmonic wave, one of the main issues affecting the power quality of the ship integrated power system, will be generated by large amount of non-linear and power-electronic devices due to the greatly increasing electrical load on board. The reasons for the generation of the harmonic waves are firstly analyzed, and the possible hazards caused by the harmonic waves are then presented. Finally, several commonly used harmonic wave control methods are summarized, mainly including source suppression and system compensation. Simulation results and engineering application cases are presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the main harmonic wave control methods. It can provide references for harmonic control of the ship integrated power system.

“XUE LONG 2” is the first polar icebreaking research vessel built independently in China. The vessel has the characteristics of the transport ship, ice breaker and scientific research ship. This article gives a general description of the scope of the outfitting design, design principle and equipment configuration. It focuses on the analysis of the key design points, including the typical common technical problems. The summary of the relevant experience can provide reference for the design of the new polar research vessels or the similar projects in the future.

Simulation of Double Cable Underwater Operation Based on Finite Element Method
TANG Qing-zhi, FENG Zheng-ping, HUANG Wei
Ship & Boat    2020, 31 (04): 71-78.   DOI: 10.19423/j.cnki.31-1561/u.2020.04.071
Abstract116)            Save
The underwater operations of two cables are simulated and analyzed by Matlab together with the simulation analysis method of the rigid body dynamics based on the finite element method (FEM) that has been widely used in the hull structural design. The obtained variation of the cable posture with time can determine whether the double cable will interfere with each other underwater. It firstly analyzes the influence of the ship motion on the cable launching point, and then builds the dynamical model for the cables underwater. Finally, the cable posture underwater is obtained through the simulation.

Applicability Analysis of Design Rules for Helicopter Landing Platform and Hangar of Public Service Ship and Scientific Research Ship
YU Yang, HUANG Wei
Ship & Boat    2020, 31 (03): 109-117.   DOI: 10.19423/j.cnki.31-1561/u.2020.03.109
Abstract250)            Save
In recent years, more and more public service ships and scientific research ships have been built in china. Most of them will be equipped with helicopter landing platforms and even hangars due to the particularity of such ships. However, there is no common design rule for the helicopter landing platforms and hangars of such ships, resulting in the non-unified standards and rules adopted in the design. The current relevant civil and military rules for the design of the helicopter landing platforms and hangars are compared and analyzed in view of the above situation. The applicability of the design rules is discussed for the helicopter landing platform and the hangar of a full-scale ship. It can provide reference for the future similar designs.
