Abstract: The essence of safe return to port (SRtP) is that the passenger ships can withstand a fire or a flooding casualty. A flooding casualty, as a fire casualty, will seriously threat the safety of the passenger ships. The early detection, mid-term alarm and post-processing of the flooding casualty should be considered in the ship design. The redundant design of the flooding alarm system is studied for the 700 pax Ro-Ro passenger ship that was designed by Marine Design and Research Institute of China (MARIC). The relevant follow-up actions and processing measures of other SRtP subsystems are considered in view of the associated effects of the flooding casualty.

摘要: 安全返港的本质是客滚船能够经受住火灾事故和进水事故的考验。进水事故同火灾事故一样,会对客滚船的安全性造成重大威胁。在船舶设计中应着重考虑对进水事故进行前期探测、中期报警和后期处理。该文基于中国船舶及海洋工程设计研究院设计的700客位客滚船,研究了进水探测报警系统的冗余规范设计,并且考虑到进水事故的关联影响,思考了与之相关的其他安全返港子系统的后续动作及处理措施。
