Fast Load Shedding Strategy for Dynamic Positioning Drilling Platform

摘要: 针对动力定位钻井平台在发生开关故障跳闸或者发电机意外停机时,如何快速降低电网负荷,避免其他在线发电机欠频或过载的情况进行研究。在平台电站采用智能化电子设备和IEC61850通信网络的基础上,介绍基于事件的快速减载策略,并跟传统的基于频率和可用功率的减载方式进行比较。结果表明:基于事件的故障减载策略在快速响应方面有明显优势;在电站采用IEC61850标准和面向通用对象的变电站事件(GOOSE)通讯的动力定位钻井平台或船舶上,基于事件的故障减载策略能够显著提高平台电网的稳定性和可靠性。

Abstract: This article studies how to rapidly reduce the power grid load and to avoid the under frequency or overload of the other online generators for the dynamic positioning drilling platform in the event of a switch failure trip or the unexpected shutdown of the generator. The fast load shedding strategy based on the events has been introduced and compared with the traditional load shedding method based on frequency and available power on the basis of the platform power station that was equipped with the intelligent electronic device and IEC 61850 communication network. The results show that the fault load shedding strategy based on events has great advantages in rapid response. The fault load shedding strategy based on the events can significantly improve the stability and reliability of the platform power grid for the dynamic positioning drilling platform or ships with power grid using IEC 61850 and GOOSE communication.
